Race week in July is the highlight of the racing calendar in Ireland. An event not to be missed. Bring your hat for ladies day!. There are two other meetings in September and October.

Festivals

Oyster Festival

The Clarenbridge and Galway Oyster festivals are international events held in September, a must for lovers of both seafood and of life itself, a place where you can meet many famous people. The Black and White Ball which closes the festival is attended by local and international personalities alike. Early reservation a must.
Galway Arts Festival

A two week extravangza that attracts the world renowned. The Arts Festival leads into the ever growing Galway Film festival.
